The week's been good - big band week. We had our workshop yesterday with the whole band, which was crazy.
It was a lot of people in one room playing for us, which was a scary thought but a good thought at the same time - to know they were all behind us.
Big band week is one of those weeks you hear about in Idol every year from people and we’re finally here, we’re doing it. This is where people step up and have their moment in the season. Hopefully we all step up but we can’t all have our moment on the one night…
We met Harry Connick Jr., he was so laidback. He’s just one of those guys who’s really sure of himself. He knows what he’s there for and what he’s here to do. He just gave us more confidence and more drive to do well after he talked to us.
I’m feeling confident about my song. It’s a well known song so if I stuff it up, everyone will know, but I’m confident I’ll do a good job of it. We all went shopping for suits and dresses, so we’re all going to look very good this week - very schmick!
