Marcia Hines

Marcia Hines

It's fair to say that an Australian Idol panel without Marcia Hines would be a frightening prospect for nervous contestants. Flanked by the sharp-witted Kyle Sandilands and returning know-it-all Ian "Dicko" Dickson, she is a crucial supportive influence. After all, with an incredibly successful career, Marcia represents everything our budding performers are hoping for.

Ian 'Dicko' Dickson

Dicko

Ian "Dicko" Dickson made the move from the UK in 2001 after a successful career as a music industry bigwig. For the first two seasons of the show he shocked and delighted audiences with his blunt style: from dodgy dancing to weight issues, nothing was off limits. After two years in the wilderness of a foreign TV network, Dicko has come to his senses and remembered where he belongs: telling singing hopefuls what's what.

Kyle Sandilands

Kyle Sandilands

Entering his fourth season of Idol, outspoken Kyle Sandilands has certainly made his mark on Australian Idol. He soon got attention for his candid tell-it-like-it-is calls (who could forget his "tuckshop arms" comment to Kate DeAraugo?), and differences of opinion with fellow judges Ian "Dicko" Dickinson and Marcia Hines.

Andrew G

Andrew G

Andrew G, host of Australian Idol, is much more than a television presenter - his long-standing involvement in music makes him the perfect Idol master of ceremonies. As Australian Idol Series 6 unfolds, you can be sure that our friendly host will protect Idol hopefuls and keep the dream alive.

James Mathison

James Mathison

James Mathison’s meteoric rise to the sharp end of Australian television is an amazing - if brief - tale of next to no ambition and zero determination. Returning once again for Series 6, Australian Idol is proudly co-presented by James, the charming guy who can speak a thousand words by raising one eyebrow. Australian Idol’s unassuming maverick of live television is back!

Ricki-Lee Coulter

Ricki-Lee Coulter

Launching her public profile in Series 2 of Austalian Idol, Ricki-Lee Coulter is one of Idol's many success stories, having worked with some of the worlds most distinguished producers and artists. In 2008, she will bring her charisma and natural hosting ability to an exciting new season of Australian Idol, joining Andrew G and James Mathison as a host and bringing a fresh, insightful perspective to the show.

Erana Clark

Erana Clarke

As Australian Idol's vocal coach, it’s Erana Clark's job to help the contestants sound their very best. But the competition aspect means she has to be careful not to take anything away from the performer's own ideas. She has lent her amazing voice to tours with Tom Jones, INXS, Midnight Oil, Renee Geyer, Wendy Matthews, Kate Ceberano and Marcia Hines.
