This Sunday Suzi Quatro will join Idol for rock night as a guest mentor and judge. For advice about authenticity on stage and how to have a long lasting career- not to mention how to rock out, hard - the Final 12 couldn’t go wrong with Suzi in the mentor’s seat.

The US born rock icon, who has sold over 50 million records worldwide, has worked with the Idols during the week to give their performances the grunt they need. On Sunday night, Suzi will also perform and join the judges to give her opinion on how your Final 12 measure up.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Suzi was rocking out in an all girl band with her sisters when she was only 15. In 1973 she hit the big time in Australia, the UK and Europe with the track "Can the Can", which went number 1 in Australia and the UK. She followed this up with the smash hit "Devil Gate Drive" and Suzi’s leather clad look and confident stage presence made her an inspiration for women in rock for many years to come.

Suzi also became a familiar face on television with her role as Leather Tuscadero in Happy Days in the late 70s and went on to appear in many UK TV shows. Living in the UK, Suzi has a regular radio show and continues to tour the world.

So get your leathers ready and hold on tight as Suzi and your Final 12 set Sunday night on fire!
