Poonah: Hey Mark… so sorry you went. It wasn't your time. I don't think anyone really expected it which maybe is why you went as people thought you were so good that they didn't need to vote for you much. Can you tell us what song you would have done this Sunday?
Mark_DaCosta: I would have performed “Dakota” by Stereophonics. Thanks for the support.

Stephanniiee: After being on Idol, is it going to be different to return to your normal lifestyle?
Mark_DaCosta: No, I am still me and the important parts of me have not changed - I will still be out performing.

ll.krystal.ll: Who do you think will win Idol, and who do you want to see win?
Mark_DaCosta: Good question... I want Matt Corby to win but I think Ben McKenzie will win.

*Daniela*: What’s your favourite rock song?
Mark_DaCosta: John Farnham, “You're the Voice”. Joking... um, it is “Oh Darling”, track 4 off Abbey Rd, The Beatles.

Coolchixx: Hi Mark, I’m so shocked to see you go, I thought Marty or Tarisai would go. Who do you think is going to go next week?
Mark_DaCosta: I think Daniel Mifsud will go next... even though I love him and he's very hairy.... Australia doesn't need a hairy Idol.

Princessem: Did the age difference matter?
Mark_DaCosta: I was closest to Matt Corby. The age difference didn't matter at all, We are all just human beings with similar goals.

Blondebabe13: Do you have any regrets?
Mark_DaCosta: No regrets.

guitargirlnumbr1: What was your best experience on Idol?
Mark_DaCosta: Rooming with Matt Corby! Hahaha.

Wcurley: Have you gotten management already? Is your phone ringing off the hook? How will you choose?
Mark_DaCosta: My Mum keeps calling me...

OXmillyXO: What are you going to miss most about being on Idol?
Mark_DaCosta: I am going to miss the whole team, including Erana and I will miss performing each week as I have so enjoyed that.

ll.krystal.ll: Do you tend to wear skinny jeans during your everyday life?
Mark_DaCosta: Of course I do, skinny jeans are my thing!

guitargirlnumbr1: Any confidence tips for performing on stage?
Mark_DaCosta: Focus... it's super important. Get the goal in mind and focus.

cutiepie11: What was it like living with the Final 12? Did you guys ever fight?
Mark_DaCosta: It was MAYHEM! It was a lot of fun and we didn't really fight about anything.

bria2: Mark, who gave the best advice ?
Mark_DaCosta: Probably Erana... because she always told me to believe in myself.

Chrissiecat: Who was your favourite judge?
Mark_DaCosta: Dicko for sure.

Altair: My favourite songs were “Whole Lotta Love” and “Yellow” (loved them all though). Do you have a favourite performance?
Mark_DaCosta: Yeah, all of them. Thank you.

Mark_DaCosta: Absolutely. That word says it all.

Princessem: What was your favourite moment throughout Idol?
Mark_DaCosta: Meeting Jane the publicist! [She is sitting next to me right now.] Making the Final 12, it was spectacular.

lella12c: Will you still be performing gigs?
Mark_DaCosta: Of course. This is what I do.

davidrox2007: How did you feel when Marcia was crying?
Mark_DaCosta: I felt like crying with her...

*Daniela*: Who made you laugh the most the most out of the Final 12?
Mark_DaCosta: Marty Simpson. He is just a really funny guy.

Chrissiecat: What is better, a Ticko from Dicko or a Touchdown?
Mark_DaCosta: I think definitely a Ticko from Dicko - I really respect Dicko and his judgement.

jocool: Did Marcia say anything to you after the show?
Mark_DaCosta: "Did you have fun up there?" I said, "Yes", and she said, "Well that's all that matters."

Siennapaige: Was Australian Idol what you expected?
Mark_DaCosta: It was actually better than what I expected.

*Daniela*: What made you decide to audition for Australian Idol?
Mark_DaCosta: Because I wanted to make a living out of music.

guitargirlnumbr1: Do you think Idol gives a 'true' taste of a rockstar's life?
Mark_DaCosta: Rock ‘n’ roll should not be determined by your lifestyle but by the music. Therefore yes, it does... I had a great time.
