Lana_Krost: No! [Laughs.] My time on Idol is finished. It was a one-time thing for me. It's something that I want to use now to move on with, not go backwards and try again!
jessos2: Hello Lana, you are a really good singer! What do you hope the public saw you as?
Lana_Krost: I really hope the public saw that I really was trying and I wasn't just the sweet, young contestant that I was portrayed as.
Jaay07: Hello Lana. Congratulations and well down. I would like to ask you, what was your highlight in Idol?
Lana_Krost: Meeting Zac Efron! And just hanging out with all the other Idols all the time because they're just so cool.
bri777: Hey Lana, I just wanted to say you have a great voice and I was wondering what you were going to sing next week if you were still in the competition?
Lana_Krost: “But I Do Love You” from Coyote Ugly. I am so cut because acoustic is what I do.
idol-girl-in-08: Who were you closest to in the house?
Lana_Krost: Probably Marty and Tarisai.
FabWilmann: Hey Lana, I want to congratulate on getting so far in the competition. How hard will it be to return to normal life and school?
Lana_Krost: Pretty hard, considering I have done minimal study! I can't wait to see my friends in all honesty. The whole Idol thing will die down… but I don't think my life could ever go back to the way it was before.
martyrox: Hey Lana, who do you think has the potential to win the comp?
Lana_Krost: I hate that question... next! [Laughs]
ma.r.ie: Lana - Was the whole experience difficult to cope with as well as the HSC?
Lana_Krost: Not really... because I wasn't concentrating on the HSC at all.
springpup7: Who's your favourite judge?
Lana_Krost: Kyle is my favourite judge... how weird is that?
person11: Do you have any regrets?
Lana_Krost: No regrets at all. Oh, maybe borrowing someone's makeup and getting infected eyes!
angel_25305: Hey Lana, what was your favourite outfit you wore on the show?
Lana_Krost: My favourite outfit was probably the Nicola Finetti dress I wore on the Semi-Finals and I loved the Ed Hardy dress that I wore on my last performance.
raphaelish: Were you influenced by any of the other contestants?
Lana_Krost: Bri and Nat really helped me, I guess cause they were a lot older. When I was trying to come out of the whole "musical theatre" phase, they would give me tips on diction and how to come out of my shell.
Audrey95: Hi Lana, are your eyes feeling a bit better? What were you allergic to?
Lana_Krost: Awww thanks! Yes they are... it was an allergic reaction to a friend's makeup.
ange0061: After all your HSC's what will you do? What do you plan to do in the future?
Lana_Krost: Well... I plan to go travelling. Me and Nat Gauci were talking about travelling together next year. Definitely for me, I don't know where I want to take my music, so I want to grow up first and see what suits me. I really want to do some acting like Home & Away or even some modelling.
ma.r.ie: Lana, what was your favourite genre that you sang on Idol?
Lana_Krost: My favourite genre was Rock night.
bri777: What theme were you looking forward to singing in most?
Lana_Krost: Acoustic... which was next week! That's the genre that I do best. That would have been able to show what I could really do. Disco and Rock were so far removed from that.
lisarhh92: Did you get to choose your outfits? I especially liked the cute white dress you wore when you sang "Big Girls Don't Cry."
Lana_Krost: I did get to choose my outfits. Most of the time I preferred to stick to my own clothes. That dress was Nicola Finetti's - I am shattered I didn't get to keep it.
Taffyroll: Lana, in terms of music, who do you look up to and who influences you?
Lana_Krost: I love Missy Higgins, a bit of Jewel and Little Birdy. The Little Birdy chick is from my crib! She's from Perth and I love that she has stayed herself but still been really different.
bri777: What was the best part in the whole experience?
Lana_Krost: The best part... there's so many I couldn't pick. Moving into the house, meeting Zac Efron and getting to perform. Just meeting everyone and hanging out with them. It's weird to think that one of them is going to win this whole thing!
person11: Did the judges have good advice?
Lana_Krost: Yes, they did... they helped me a lot.
ma.r.ie: Lana - Who is the funniest in the house?
Lana_Krost: Tarisai - she is so hilarious. NO, Ben. He is the biggest freak and I love him to death. He is the funniest person ever.
bri777: Did anyone treat you differently one you started on the show?
Lana_Krost: I have gotten a couple of ex boyfriends contacting me and I am just like... um, no!

Lana_Krost: Is that you Dicko?
Taffyroll: Lana!! Would you consider becoming an actor?
Lana_Krost: YES! I really want to be an actor. I would love to work on Neighbours or Home & Away.
Jaay07: Lana, how did you feel about the judge’s comments after each performance?
Lana_Krost: That's a really hard question... they definitely inspired me to be better and prove something to them.
Panic!-Fever: Lana… How did it feel to see Zac Efron in real life?
Lana_Krost: [Sighs wistfully]... It was amazing! I got so overwhelmed and suddenly bawled my eyes out, which was so embarrassing, but he is just so hot! Dribble...
emmylou87: Who is the loudest in the house?
Lana_Krost: Tarisai and Ben! They make it a zoo!
bri777: What is your favourite TV show?
Lana_Krost: Heroes, Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy, Home & Away... and Australian Idol! I have many. I'm a TV fiend.
bri777: What was the hardest thing to live without when you were in the house?
Lana_Krost: Probably my two best friends, Alex and Amber.
Taffyroll: How did it feel to know that you had so many fans behind you supporting you?
Lana_Krost: GREAT! It was so special... especially hearing from them through the net.
ma.r.ie: Do you hope to continue with your music after Idol? And if so, what style of music are you hoping to create?
Lana_Krost: I'm unsure about the style yet – that’s what I want to figure out when I go travelling. But I definitely want to continue with my music and maybe venture into other things as well.
DanDeleted: Choosing Little Birdy's song on the Rock Show, did it have anything to do with them being a Perth band?
Lana_Krost: No, not at all. I just really love the song. Because they are so massive in WA, I just thought they were massive everywhere. It was great, I love Katy Steele. At the start, I actually didn't even know she was from Perth.
bri777: If you stared in a movie, which actor would you star in it with?
Lana_Krost: Zac Efron. And also, Johnny Depp.
Brianna01: What was your favourite song that you performed?
Lana_Krost: "Come On, Come On" by Little Birdy
jessos2: Hello Lana, congratulations on coming 10th out of 30000 people lol. When Marty gets out of the house do you think you will take your relationship further (as mentioned on Kyle and Jackie O show)?
Lana_Krost: We're not in a relationship - he is my best friend in the House and we will definitely stay friends.
zoidberg-cool: Will you make an album?
Lana_Krost: Um... one day, yes.
bri777: f you made an album, what would you call it?
Lana_Krost: Probably self-titled.

Lana_Krost: SOOOO much fun! It's made me realise that I can't wait to move out of home when I finish school and live with my two best friends. And thank you very much!
