bigtrev32: Hi Holly, it was a shame you left the comp so early! Do you have any regrets choosing the song in hindsight?
Holly_Weinert: I think it's really important to stay true to yourself in a comp such as Idol. There's a lot of temptation to become a product. I am glad that I chose the song that I did.

Holly_Weinert: I was going to go a bit more of a mainstream rock tune, which was ‘Calypso’ by Spiderbait.

footloose101: Holly, how did it feel living with 11 other people?
Holly_Weinert: I used to live with three blokes in their early 20s, so living with 11 other people was nothing compared to that!

aysenxx: Holly, did you by any chance fancy any of the other contestants?
Holly_Weinert: They were all either too old or too young for me. And I'm in a relationship!

*~*Kelly*~*: I was wondering if you will continue with your career?
Holly_Weinert: No.... haha of course! I want to go home and record my original material and get it out there. I am planning on gigging too so keep your eyes open.

Holly_Weinert: If I release an album, I would prefer to do my own material. But that's a really well written song.

aysenxx: Who inspires you with your music?
Holly_Weinert: There are too many artists to name… but every single thing in every single day is inspirational to me.

jaydie87: Is the music you write similar to music by The Gossip?
Holly_Weinert: There are two aspects to my music. One is similar to 'Easy' and 'Blackbird' and that's my solo stuff. The stuff I write with bands is similar to stuff like The Gossip.

footloose101: Holly, I've been a fan of Idol since 2003 and I would like to go on in three years time. What advice would you give me?
Holly_Weinert: I would say, be easy to work with, try and be yourself and follow your dreams.

nessie80: Hey Holly, I was wondering… apart from what was shown on TV last night, what else did you Idols do during the week?
Holly_Weinert: Our week was NUTS! We had a lot of workshops and photo shoots and very little sleep.

emmylou87: How much interaction do you have with the judges?
Holly_Weinert: When they're in the green room, just before a show, we talk to them. They are just like normal people and they're a lot nicer than they come across on TV.

xxLithiumxxx: Hey Holly... I just want to say that you did really well in the competition and you have an AMAZING voice. Are you going to try out again next year?
Holly_Weinert: I think I'm all Idol'ed out!

aysenxx: Who was the nicest contestant in the Final 12?
Holly_Weinert:: The nicest.... hmm… probably Brianna, because we got so close. But Tarisai is cool too!

nesSha: If you could, would you do it all again, knowing that you would have gotten out this early in the competition?
Holly_Weinert: Yes. I would. I think it's a great achievement getting to this point and the fact that you guys are here and want to talk to me is awesome. I can't thank everyone enough for getting me here. None of this would have happened without Idol.

OooohLaLa: Holly, who would you like to win Idol and who do you think will win?
Holly_Weinert: I would like to see Brianna win, just because it would be nice to see a different sort of artist. But I think either Matt or Tarisai will win.

amanda-renee: What is your favourite song of all time?
Holly_Weinert: ‘Love Cats’ by The Cure.

Jaay07: Holly, did your family and friends treat you any differently since becoming a celebrity?
Holly_Weinert: Not. At. All. They tell me to shut up more.
