Hi, this week has been a lot better than last week. I was very tired last week and it was very overwhelming for us, but I've had a lot of rest since then.
It’s been a fantastic week. I actually went out and bought a fishing rod yesterday and I went down to the rocks fishing. I’ve just been relaxing and I’ve had a bit more space to let more stuff in.
Brian McFadden was cool; he was actually a really genuine bloke, pretty affectionate, very caring, which I didn’t expect. I’m looking forward to the group performance; it’ll be something different to actually work as a group for once.
Sunday’s going to be great because the way I’ve been feeling lately, it’s a song that I can pour my heart out in. Stevie Nicks, when she wrote the song, was having ups and downs and her life was like a landslide at the time, and she embraced it and let it out in a song, and I think I’m going to do the same. It’s just like an avalanche at the moment, a landslide, so I just want to open my heart and sing to Australia on Sunday night and really show them a different side of me.
A big g’day to Dad and all my family. G’day to all the fans. Thanks again for all the support. I’m still overwhelmed by everyone’s support, it’s unreal. It’s great, thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Kate
