This week’s gone that fast. We didn’t have a mentor so we did a really big interview yesterday about our experience so far. Other than that, we’ve been flat out doing our songs and trying to pick for this week and pick for next week and doing our group song, so we’ve been flat out with our songs! Next week’s big band week, so that’ll be interesting.

I reckon my voice has strengthened since I started, just with working every day and warming up and doing different styles. You realise you can do different stuff and not just a bit of country, I guess. It’s great. It’s our job; singing is what we have to do. It’s fantastic, I don’t have to go to the meatworks all day and yell out all day and come home with no voice at all. I get to be trained and at the end of the day, it just gets better and better, it’s wonderful.

G’day to all the fans out there and thanks a lot for your support again - yous bloody Australians are the best, I love you so much! Big g’day to the family. I miss everyone back home and I can’t wait to have a big party when I get there.
