Hey guys, it’s been a good week this week, not quite as full on as the past week. We got to have a bit more of a sleep-in, which was nice.
The Sunday night show was pretty full on, just finding out who was getting knocked out. You kind of get that big sigh of relief when you get put straight through but at the same time, you’re sad to see someone go.
It was a shame to see Ashleigh go; we were all close to her in the house, so we’re going to miss her there. On to the next week, I guess – we’ve got to get used to this, someone’s going to be leaving every week.
I was pretty happy with my performance this week, the comments weren’t great, I guess. The style that I was doing wasn’t exactly what is seen as my style but it was good fun to get out into the audience and move around a little bit more, which was a nice change. This week I’m singing something that’s a little bit more up my alley, I’m doing “Drops of Jupiter" by Train and I think I’m doing an acoustic version, so it should be a lot of fun.
Brian McFadden was really great, we got on really well. He’s into a similar style of music to me, so we bounced some ideas off each other and it was good to have a chat and pick his brain a little bit. He helped me out a bit with my performance and what I can do with my stage presence and everything like that.
I think we’re planning to go down to the beach this afternoon, which’ll be good. Get out of the house a little bit, it’s a nice 32 degrees day today.
That’s about it, guys. Thanks for the support and I read all the comments and everything that I’m getting, so it’s been really great. Hopefully I’ll see you next week.
Thanks guys,
James
