Got to meet Liza Minnelli, that was pretty cool. She kind of acted back to me – I was singing to her and she was doing all these little lines in between the line I was singing, so that was cool having someone as big as her doing what she does to me. That was wicked.

This week I’m singing “Never Walk Alone” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, so two kind of older songs, I guess. I’m going back to the big band kind of thing this week – I’m doing a different arrangement of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, more big band-y. Straight power ballad for “Never Walk Alone”. It should show a different side of me again.

Life in the Idol house is good. We played hide and go seek again last night, we always do that when we’re really bored. We’re having a cooking challenge at the moment. It’s for whoever wants to get involved and we have to cook some random dish. Last week I cooked orange pastry - seriously, it was orange with a bit of pastry in the middle of it. That was as good as my cooking gets. It tasted like crap.
