This week I’ve had probably the greatest, cool couple of days I think I’ve ever had in my life – the most surreal couple of days I’ve ever had.
It was great just getting back to music and I had no idea I was doing it, so I played about fix or six songs just off the top of my head with my mates, but they came across alright. I got to sign a bunch of autographs and talk to everyone. Met a bunch of family and friends I hadn’t seen for a long time, so that was great.
In the morning I got to do a breakfast show with the local radio station. People were calling in and I played a couple of original songs on the show, so that was a heap of fun.
Didn’t get in the bottom three this week, so I was really happy about that. All the guys got straight through. Fingers crossed I don’t have to be there again next week, but it’s starting to come down lower and lower, so the chances of me being in the bottom three are a lot higher, I guess.
I want to say thanks to everybody for coming out on Tuesday and meeting me there and for all the support I’ve been getting. I didn’t quite realise how much support I was getting from my local town, but it’s just incredible - I had everyone coming up to me on the street and saying good luck. So thanks everybody.
James
