Yes I did a cut and paste job as it was sent to me by a real fan. I am banned from Tarisai's fan site as I queried the truth behind that negative publicity of her abduction. I also keep on querying what her previous manager was actually doing for her in a postive way.

I am just waiting for the new season to start and read in Who Mag (this week's edition page 43) where Dicko states that they have discovered the best soul singer ever heard in Australia!

I know that a lot of people go to the Australian Idol boards because they see them on Australian Idol when it is on. Or perhaps they do a google search. Either way, that is the result. People who had never posted before came on just to bash her.

Figuratively it was like there was this person who had been pushed onto the ground, and they were yelling out "Hey everyone, stick your boots in!". So everyone was doing it.

But then, because Tarisai was evicted, it got worse. Most of the people who liked Tarisai left in disgust. The few that remained were faced even in her own forum with 10 people against them for every 1 who agreed. The moderators couldn't care less. Even in severe situations, they still did nothing. They finally banned 1 person, whilst admitting that they had 2 known accounts, and failed to ban the other account. When I posted that they had banned that 1 person, they threatened to ban me!

So we needed somewhere to go that wasn't so insanely nasty. We needed somewhere where we could feel home.

We were all prepared to start up our own fan forum, only I thought first to see if one existed. Of the 4 Tarisai fan sites that had been created (that I could find), this was the only one that had a forum. It wasn't particularly active, but I could post on here, and it did the job. The owner wasn't active but at least became active after we started coming, so all was good.

The thing is that even without heavy moderating, we are still in a situation where you aren't having 10 people against Tarisai. We aren't having Tarisai bashing left, right and centre. People aren't saying that she's fake, that she lied about this, that she isn't genuine, that she can't sing, that she will never amount to anything, and so forth. That's the whole beauty of it. Its a place where you can feel safe, feel free, and feel at home away from all of the hatred and nastiness.

I know that there aren't many people who come here, maybe only a dozen or so who are even semi-regular, and even then you only get 1 post every week or so of any note, and then we have recently wiped the whole forum. But its enough to talk about things. But most importantly you know that if you are talking about it, you aren't having people bashing you all over the place, and most importantly not bashing her.

It might sound tough if you are someone who likes to bash her, and who thinks that she deserves to be bashed, but again, there is the Australian Idol site if you feel that way.

Are you replying to yourself, foxy? You seem to be talking to yourself. Or is this the 1st case in 2008 of referring to oneself in the 3rd person?
